• You are legally authorized to solicit and receive campaign contributions for the campaign identified on your PeopleVote account.
• All information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
• You will promptly update your information if it changes.
• You understand and will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local campaign finance laws.

You are responsible for campaign registration, contribution limits, reporting requirements, disclosure obligations, and all other legal responsibilities applicable to your campaign.

• Your campaign committee
• Your campaign treasurer
• Your attorney.
• Your accountant.
• Your financial advisor.
• Your campaign finance compliance service.
• An election authority

PeopleVote does not determine whether contributions comply with campaign finance laws and does not assume responsibility for your campaign's legal compliance.

ARTICLE IV

Candidate Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Complying with campaign finance laws
• Maintaining accurate campaign information
• Filing required campaign finance reports.
• Maintaining campaign records.
• Accepting only lawful campaign contributions.
• Refunding contributions when required by law.
• Responding to audits, investigations, or inquiries relating to your campaign

PeopleVote does not prepare or file campaign finance reports or monitor your compliance with applicable law.

ARTICLE V 

Prohibited Conduct 

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
• Misrepresent your identity or campaign.
• Attempt to circumvent campaign finance laws.
• Engage in fraud or deceptive conduct
• Interfere with the security or operation of the PeopleVote platform

Violation of this Agreement may result in suspension or termination of campaign donation services.

ARTICLE VI 

Suspension and Termination 

PeopleVote may suspend or terminate campaign donation services if:

• You violate this Agreement.
• You provide false or misleading information.
• Your payment processor account is suspended or terminated
• Continued use of the platform creates legal, security, financial, or operational risk. 
• Suspension or termination is required by applicable law or requested by a lawful governmental authority.

Termination of campaign donation services does not relieve you of any legal obligations relating to contributions previously received.

ARTICLE VII 

Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification

PeopleVote provides the Campaign Donation Platform on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• PeopleVote does not guarantee compliance with campaign finance laws.
• PeopleVote is not responsible for campaign reporting, contribution limits, donor eligibility, payment processor decisions, chargebacks, banking delays, audits, investigations, or penalties arising from your campaign activities.
• You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PeopleVote LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and service providers from claims arising from your campaign activities, your use of the Donation Platform, or your violation of this Agreement or applicable law.

Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

ARTICLE VIII

General Terms

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, except where federal law or other applicable law requires otherwise.

If any provision of this Agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

PeopleVote may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Campaign Donation Platform after an updated Agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
